Devil Dog BBQ & Catering was privileged to cater the reception for the Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce Reception. This reception followed an Job Fair at HCC West Loop.
The menu for the night was Brisket & Chicken slider on either a Hawaiian Roll or Fresh Made Jalapeño Cheese Slider Roll, bacon wrapped chicken tenders, chopped brisket nachos, sausage balls, all served with your choice of Devil Dog BBQ Sauce, Jalapeño Mayonnaise or Chipotle Mayonnaise.

Bastrop FFA with their 1st ever Barnyard Days
They had stations for kids to go to and learn about milking cows, planting seeds, learning a little about wildlife, plants & animals, Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens were there with a mobile display. While the weather was not on our side, the turn out was pretty good.
Devil Dog BBQ was on hand to keep them fed with HOT CHOW and HOT coffee was a must on this day. We had a great time and we hope we get to return for the 2nd Barnyard Days next year.
The Bastrop Area FFA & 4H followed this event with a Show at the Mayfair Park barn. The Bastrop High School FFA Chapter also began competing at the Houston Live Stock Show & Rodeo.
